So… Who is The Bride?

He was teaching out of Paul’s letters and proceeded to ask me if I was saved; and by what evidence? He was quoting from Paul’s doctrine; whereby he says, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you–unless, of course, you fail the test?”(2 Corinthians 13:5). I was shocked and offended that he asked me this question and at the time, I couldn’t understand why I felt so struck by what he was asking me. The truth was that I had no idea if I was saved and the reality was, deep down I knew that I probably wasn’t. My salvation, like most people, boiled down to nothing more than a hope and a prayer, and at best I just wished to be right. Like most people, I was scared of death. Plus it seemed like a great deal, say a little prayer, believe in your heart, show up once a week, put a little something in the basket and, it’s all good. You’re probably thinking to yourself, “This doesn’t sound like a person who is either a bride or a husband.” Correct! He was the next big thing, a rising star within the Christian hip-hop movement, and I was breaking out as a new up-and-coming NYC fashion designer. He was teaching out of Paul’s letters and proceeded to ask me if I was saved, and by what evidence? He was quoting from Paul’s doctrine; where he says, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you–unless, of course, you fail the test?” (2 Corinthians 13:5). I was shocked and offended that he asked me this question, and at the time, I couldn’t understand why I felt so struck by what he was asking me. The truth was that I had no idea if I was saved through Christ, and the reality was, deep down, I knew that I probably wasn’t. My salvation, like most people, boiled down to nothing more than hope and a prayer; at best, I just wished to be correct. Like most people, I was scared of death. Plus, it seemed like a great deal, say a little prayer, believe in your heart, show up once a week to church, put a little something in the basket, and it’s all good. You’re probably thinking, “This doesn’t sound like a person who is either a bride or a groom.” Correct! Just like the majority of folks out there, I was probably closer to a prostitute. At best, all that was in my hands were some cheap chocolates and wilting flowers. I can tell you today; I wasn’t the one wearing the ring; I definitely wasn’t a bride or the groom. Here’s the caveat, neither was he.
What is The Ring that identifies the people which YHVH (GOD) calls His Bride?
The Sabbath is the Ring (the sign) that the Bride wears and it is the sign between YHVH (GOD) and His Bride (Israel), Israel is the one who is Set Apart, Holy, The Redeemed Firstborn, The Spotless Bride and The Holy Ones of YHVH (GOD): the Ones Who will Inherit the Kingdom of God and Rule it Forever.
Fruit is the outward manifestation that a person produces that shows you what is in their heart and allows those who are of The Truth to recognize those who are not of The Way. Words can deceive, but a man’s actions speak louder than his words. If you want to get to know Him, The ONE TRUE GOD, The Most High, The Husband of Israel: then start by keeping His Commandments.
Rings are synonymous with becoming or being a bride, The Wife. A ring is an outward visible sign that someone wears. A ring says, “I am a person who is in a covenant, I am the Bride.” If you don’t wear the The Ring of Heaven which is the Sabbath; then who and what are you engaged to? What and who are you married to? Who is your Husband? So are you Hell’s Whore or Heaven’s Bride? Which one are you? Shabbat Shalom.
Lastly, We invite you to come to learn about the ONE TRUE GOD and His Perspective on what is Right and what leads to life.
